Wedding Party

Lauren Johnson
Lauren Johnson - Maid of Honor
Lauren is the Maid of Honor at Lisa's upcoming wedding! Despite a ten-year age gap, these sisters have each other’s back. Their adult bond became solidified Lisa joined Lauren for her 21st birthday in Barcelona and toasted at an Irish pub. Growing up, Lauren was always within close watch of Lisa, whether watching her create cheers for the cheer squad, trying not to roll backwards as thier Dad taught Lisa to drive stick shift in the hills of Pennsylvania, or indulging in too many grilled stickies when Lauren went to visit lisa in college. Nobody knows Lisa's tastes like Lauren, who's a pro at navigating her sister's pickiness. They've traveled the world together and have traversed Africa, India, London, Spain, Mexico, and Portugal, and recently enjoying summers in Lewes. Living in Chicago and working in health marketing, Lauren admires Lisa's carefree spirit and her knack for doing things her way, on her own time, and always having a blast.
Joshua Wagner
Joshua Wagner - Best Person
Josh is thrilled to stand beside his friend, Lisa, as she and Sean begin this new chapter together. Josh and Lisa have been friends for just shy of 20 years after meeting in Delaware through a mutual acquaintance. Their friendship spans years of shared church attendance, fancy meals, hard conversations, and laughter. Josh lives in Nashville, TN, where he manages a community arts education program and local art gallery for the city of Nashville. In his position, he advocates for racial and social justice related to arts access.
Sharmayne Burns
Sharmayne Burns - Bridesmaid
Sharmayne is Lisa’s cousin. From childhood playmates to confidants in adulthood, our bond transcends mere familial ties. Her presence in our wedding party not only symbolizes our deep familial connection but also celebrates the cherished friendship we have cultivated over the years. We have shared countless memories, from summer days spent at the Delaware beaches, endless happy hours, and watching reality tv. As we embark on this journey together, we are grateful for Sharmayne’s love and support, and we look forward to creating beautiful memories together on our wedding day and beyond.
Amanda Wilson
Amanda Wilson - Bridesmaid
Lisa and Amanda first met at church about 15 years ago and quickly became close friends, bonding over their shared inability to put up with nonsense in a gracious way, their significant loyalty to their friends, their love of quality craft cocktails and dreams of early retirement to be able to enjoy aforementioned cocktails whenever they want.....especially if it's on the beach or at her wedding!
Tasha Coleman
Tasha Coleman - Bridesmaid
The year Tasha and Lisa met started with a ‘19’ but you can consider them “Day 1s” from “Day 2s”. At Penn State University, living on complete opposite sides of the enormous campus with polar opposite majors, it’s safe to say there’s no obvious reason they’d ever cross paths. But God’s plans are God’s plans and often don’t play out the way we would call the most ‘optimal’. The weather that pivotal day was proof of that. It must have been 15 degrees at most, there was wind, 18 inches of snow was already on the ground, and 10 – 18 more inches falling out of the sky with ferocity. These two were the only two humans standing outside, in hypothermic conditions, waiting for “the circulator”. Their conversation started a little awkward but within the time it took to get to their destination a fast-growing bond as crystalized – one that would grow stronger as time passed. From that day on the bus until now, I don’t remember life without Lisa’s presence – either physical or spiritual. That moment was followed with laughs, troves of organic one-liners, wine, fights, trips (in the ‘brown bomber’, and on planes), dreams, aspirations, prayers, tears, wine, breaks of silence – that were interrupted with emails or calls as if we’d seen each other just the day before; wine, comedic mishaps, and my favorite: our winter visits that often entailed the two of us wrapped in our respective blankets, sitting on the couch, with the windows open, binge watching some limited series - pausing for bathroom breaks and more wine or water. These last few years, like many, we’ve both experienced a lot in life (you’ll have to purchase the book for details). Looking back, it appears that God will use one of us to prepare the other for what is to come. One very special trip we took several years ago somehow encompassed all the above in 6 days (minus the winter), and what we both took from that pivotal experience was “God provides”. I feel so blessed that He gifted me with Lisa as a friend/sister and I am so thankful to witness him fulfill his promises in her life.
Andrew Ferrell - Groomsmen
Andrew is Sean's childhood friend. Andrew and Sean never went to school together, but became neighborhood friends who did everything together. Dylan King - Groomsmen

Chris Renaud
